As stated elsewhere, Willie is just love with a little fur wrapped around it.

Willie was neutered and then went to his forever home in June of 2007.    His beloved Dawn, Sami the cat, and Willie were a wonderful trio.   Dawn had nothing else to do her retirement but love Willie & Sami.   I got long wonderful emails, with photos, on a routine basis.  They were both the light of her life, and she was their world...

And then in May of this year, Dawn suddenly passed away.   Within hours of the discovery of Dawn's death, Willie came back home to my house, just as Dawn & I had agreed.    And now, Willie has finally stopped looking for her.   He is his own happy self again.  His house-breaking is perfect - he doesn't even mark where the other boys do.   But he doesn't quite understand why we can't sleep with him, or hold him almost constantly, or why these other dogs need to be petted, too...   after all, he was one of only two stars in Dawn's world.

Willie would do best as an "only child", or perhaps with just one cat, or just one other submissive dog.   (He does like to be King, although he can be a benevolent monarch.)  He would be very happy being your constant companion, doting on you as you dote on him.

Willie will turn 8 yrs old at the end of August, but his health is excellent, and he should easily live to be 15 or so.

Please let me know if you think you could love Willie for the rest of his life.
